Job Title:
Stress Engineers
Job Description:
Perform structural analyses using classical hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) (PATRAN, NASTRAN) to assess structural integrity. Conduct Static structural, Fatigue and dynamic Stress Analysis analyses to determine margins of safety under certification and operational load conditions. Review and validate stress reports, ensuring conformance. Work with both metallic and composite structures/components to provide technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design. Design and develop automation solutions using Excel VBA. Interpret FEA results and implement design improvements, provide timely analytical support for structural releases and design modifications. Skills Required: NASTRAN, PATRAN, ANSYS, HyperMesh, APDL, CATIA, and VBA. Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering (any) with 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation is required
Work location: Edison, NJ, and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
